3. MMT is my favorite Beatle album and one of their best later efforts. Made right after Sgt. Pepper, this collection contain three hit singles from I've had this album both on LP and CD since I was 15 years old. This was my first Beatles album; I've played it /5(K).

4. No one has ever claimed it's the Beatles best album, but it undeniably contains some of their most magnificent music. That seeming conundrum exists because Magical Mystery Tour isn't really an album per se, but rather a cobbled together mix of the soundtrack to the wildly uneven made for TV movie of the same name (released as a 45 RPM double EP in England) and single hits from earlier in Brand: Capitol.
